Hello! I’m Jen and I live in beautiful Loveland, Colorado, about an hour away from Rocky Mountain National Park. I love the mountains and feel so lucky to have ended up here.
I’ve always loved handmade jewelry, however my degree is in microbiology, very different from beads and silversmithing! So I started taking classes in beading and silversmithing several years ago. Then I had an opportunity to quit working in the lab and start making jewelry full time. Now I have my own studio space and I can’t wait to go to work every day!
As you can probably tell, turquoise is my favorite stone to create with. No two cabochons are the same. I don’t have a favorite type of turquoise because there are so many beautiful variations of colors and matrix patterns. I only buy stones from trusted, vetted sources that have been in business for many years. Often I buy directly from the miners. And I always list the kind of turquoise used in every piece, so you know what kind and where your stone came from.
So have a look around my site and check back often for updates and new collections!
